Rotarians Ben Shier, left, and Karen Gibbs, middle, are seen here with Jamie Myers, DO.  Myers spoke at a recent Beaver Dam Rotary luncheon meeting.  Dr Myers, is a robotic surgeon at Beaver Dam Community Hospital (BDCH).   Fully trained in robot-assisted surgery, using the state of the art, da Vinci Surgical System, she performs minimally invasive general surgery.  With robot assistance, she can make smaller incisions, which result in less pain, quicker recovery and a quicker return to normal activity.  Myers specializes in breast procedures.  BDCH will have an open house on December 7, 2016, from 4-6:30 pm which will feature da Vinci Surgical Systems demonstrations.  Call 920-887-7181 or visit bdch.com for more information.
